Spanish land + scape

Land + scapes = landscapes: here are some southern Spanish ones. From my recent

trip along the southern coast of Spain, parallel to Africa. The forms and shapes

always amaze me, like these trees, like stalagmites in a cave or so, long and ancient routes meandering across the land or hanging in the air like washed up from the sea. I

love it, relish it, delight in it, get fascinated by it, and approach to feel their spirits.

 

And all else: the mountains with their ancient looks, the sea that extends to Africa

and the sun in all things, reflecting light and lighting up the sandy land and the

trees and flowers. And then. More magic – of course, the skies and the palm trees,
